JEE Main 2021
The JEE Main 2021 will be held in 4 sessions. The first session was conducted in the month of February, the second session in March, and the third session in the last week of July. The fourth session will be held on the 26th, 27th, 31st of August, and September 1st, 2nd of 2021. The results for the first three sessions are released already. The examination was held in two shifts, the first shift in the morning and the second shift post-lunch. The examination timing is from 9 AM to 12 PM for shift 1 and from 3 PM to 6 PM for Shift 2.
The registration for session 4 is available from the 9th of August,2021 to the 11th of August, 2021. The application was available earlier in the month of July. The admit card for the examination will be available on the official website soon. The candidates can download the admit card by entering the date of birth and the application number.
The results for the examination will be available on the official website in the result portal. The candidates can access the results by entering their application number and their date of birth.
JEE Main 2021 Question Paper
The examination authority has revised the examination pattern of JEE Main 2021. The list of changes made to JEE Main 2021 Question paper is as follows. Each subject will have a total of 30 questions. A total of 20 questions in section A and 10 questions in section B. From these 30 questions, candidates can opt to answer 5 questions from section B and all 20 questions from section A. The examination includes 3 subjects- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidates should answer 75 questions from a total of 90 questions from all three subjects. Interestingly, few of the questions will not have negative marking. From the candidate’s feedback, we understand that in the JEE Main Question Paper, the Physics question paper was moderate, the Mathematics question paper was the toughest and Chemistry was easy.
Paper 2A is set for B.Arch aspirants. There will be a total of 82 questions, from which the candidates can choose to answer 77 questions. 50 are aptitude questions, 25 questions are from mathematics, and 2 are drawing-based questions.
Paper 3B is set for B.planning aspirants. The candidates can attempt 100 questions from a total of 105 questions.
Solving previous year’s question papers can help the students get a better understanding of the examination pattern, difficulty level, time management, etc. It also helps in self-assessment, the candidates can later focus on the concepts that are not very clear for them.
